Description[]
Poisonous Claws allows the Chryssalid's melee attack to poison an opponent (in addition to dealing its base damage). Poisoned units suffer a 20% Aim penalty and lose 1 HP per turn for three turns. A Medikit confers immunity to the soldier carrying it, and can be used to cure others of poison. Titan Armor grants immunity as well. In XCOM: Enemy Within, the effects of Poisonous Claws can also be negated if a soldier is equipped with Archangel Armor, Ghost Armor, MEC suit, or a Respirator Implant.
Robotic units (Cyberdiscs, Drones, Mechtoids, Sectopods, Seekers and all varieties of S.H.I.V.s), as well as Chryssalids, Thin Men, and Zombies are immune to poison.
