The Spider Suit adds mobility and an increased chance of taking grazing shots instead of outright hits. The grapple module allows soldiers to traverse the battlefield rapidly. It does not takes an action to use, but does have a short cooldown.

Trivia

• The Spider Suit is actually a redesign of the Skeleton Suit which was never produced during the 2015 invasion of XCOM 2's alternate timeline.
• Strangely, the Spider Suit's icon in the loadout screen seems to show the Predator Armour, while the Predator Armour's icon shows the Spider Suit. it is not clear if this is a mistake or was intended.
