Name and outward appearance aside, the EXALT Assault Rifle is identical in stats and function to XCOM's Assault Rifle. There is no point to using it besides its arguably better looks over the Assault Rifle, however. By the time EXALT appears, one should have Laser Rifles or better in common use, unless they are performing rather poorly. In any case the EXALT Assault Rifle is nothing more than a nice-looking cosmetic modification to the Assault Rifle, and can be used as the player sees fit. It is not very valuable to sell at only 1 unit of funds, and Council nations may ask for some for their own anti-EXALT operations for a far greater price than to simply sell them on the Gray Market, so one should always keep their EXALT weaponry in reserve.

Gray Market ValueEdit
- The weapon seems to be closely modeled after the Heckler & Koch G36C carbine. It is much shorter than the XCOM assault rifle.
- The weapon may not be colored as the XCOM rifle may.
